• What are the candles made of Uyuni ?

  Combining innovation and tradition, Uyuni candles are cast in virgin paraffin wax. In addition, they are equipped with a patented 3D technology that allows them to create cocooning atmospheres for hundreds of hours, in complete safety.

  With one or more wicks and a switch with a remote timer, Uyuni candles are powered by alkaline or lithium batteries, which can be purchased separately.

• Where are the candles made Uyuni ?

  The Uyuni candles are made entirely in Vietnam and take their name from the Salar d'Uyuni, the largest salt flat in the world in Bolivia, where they resemble the starry sky.
  

• What temperatures can Uyuni candles withstand?

  Uyuni candles should be kept away from all sources of heat, including sunlight. The wax can melt (or even catch fire) if exposed to high ambient temperatures.

  In order to preserve the shape and quality of your Uyuni candles, we advise you to use them indoors, at temperatures varying between 0°C and 35°C maximum.

  For outdoor candles, please respect a temperature range of -10°C to 40°C maximum. In all cases, we recommend that you store your candles in a dry place, away from heat.

  Uyuni offers different ranges of candles, each with a different life span:

  • 80+ hours candle holders and tea lights;
  • 200+ hours for candles;
  • 400+ hours for thicker pillar candles;
  • 1000+ hours for outdoor candles.
