In 2005, Jonathan Hankar left his native Belgium for California to work for an interior design company Decoration . Once there, he was surprised to discover that objects of character were produced in an industrial way. He then decided to found Be Home with the aim of offering a range of everyday objects, rich in character, durable and handmade in a workshop. Inspired by his maternal grandmother who shared with him her love of flea markets and her extensive knowledge of antiques, as well as his paternal grandfather who pushed him to be an entrepreneur, he developed a perseverance and a positivism that lead him to be open-minded. Our selection Be Home honors a tableware with raw lines and noble and aesthetic materials, which finds its place perfectly in kitchens and dining rooms with a strong identity.
