A free spirit, an entrepreneurial drive and a passion for textiles led Valérie Hernandez to create her own brand, La Méricaine, in 2014. She imagines collections of capes and blankets with a folk spirit, directly inspired by wild America and its influences. Valérie surrounds herself with French artisans who have been experts in weaving and spinning wool for generations. Derived from the circular economy, wool doesn't require new pastures, reducing waste and cutting air and water pollution.
