The story of G.H. Bass & Co. begins in Maine in 1876 when George Henry Bass, its founder, wanted to create the best shoe "for loafing", and thus designed his famous Weejuns. The moccasins G.H. Bass & Co. are handmade in El Salvador, while guaranteeing decent social conditions for the craftsmen. Over the years, the brand has become a real guarantee of quality and has been extremely successful. It collaborates with Universal Works, Engineered Garments® and even Re/Done, whose muse for the campaign is none other than Paris Jackson. The latter follows in the footsteps of her father Michael Jackson, who himself wore the famous "penny loafers" in his video Thrillers.
