Juliette Swildens has her own way of redefining the fundamentals of cool attitude every season. Since 2006, the Swildens fashion collections have been all about the right look: a little bohemian, a little rock, a little romantic and very, very vintage in spirit. It's the perfect mix to create looks that don't play up and that you adopt without question. The common thread is the Indian, the drum and the feather, signatures of the house that recur in every collection. All because, at 18, little Juliette was the singer Pocahontas in a rock band... A worthy heiress to her mother and aunt, creators of the Bonpoint brand, Juliette invents a casual femininity, where comfort counts as much as style. That's probably why we feel so comfortable in her loose sweaters, unstructured jackets, embroidered lace blouses and cult leather boots. Never dressed up, never dressed down... For its chic basics, the brand likes to play with natural materials with a slightly aged, distressed look, such as cotton, silk or wool. Clothes Swildens should look as if they've lived. The thrift store spirit, only prettier. It's a world that seduced decorator Sarah Lavoine, a close friend with whom she has signed a collection of timeless pieces.
Frequently asked questions about the brand Swildens
Juliette Swildens was born in 1970 into a family where fashion reigns . Her mother and her aunt created a children's clothing brand, and often asked her to try on clothes. Juliette Swildens was therefore well educated, learning the steps of designing a garment, the materials, the fall and the associations of colors. As an adult, she tried her hand at acting before becoming a press agent for Lolita Lempicka for 7 years. She founded her eponymous brand in 2006 .
As she grew up, Juliette Swildens could no longer see anything she liked in her wardrobe and began to find her happiness among the second-hand clothes. By turns classic, ska, hippie, rock or midget, she immerses herself in the different styles she adopts over the years. Wishing to imagine refined and comfortable clothes , she combines this mix of genres with a beautiful fall and natural materials to create her own style. This is how the now famous eponymous brand Swildens was born.
With a background in fashion from her childhood, Juliette Swildens wants to create clothes that combine comfort and style. This desire gave birth to Swildens in 2006 , the eponymous brand taking the name of her father, a Dutch designer. The result: masculine-feminine cuts and vintage-inspired pieces that are both chic and comfortable.
The sizes of Swildenscor creations correspond to standard sizes and we therefore advise you to choose your usual size . For some shorts and trousers, the size is indicated in the American way: size 24 corresponds to a 68 cm waist, size 25 to 70 cm, size 26 to 72 cm, size 27 to 74 cm, and so on.
A fan of mixing genres, Juliette Swildens regularly collaborates with other carefully selected brands . With OPI, for example, Swildens offers a colourful Scarf and its matching nail polish. The label also works with Etam, Sarah Lavoine and Pyrenex, and has launched a capsule collection with Gas Bijoux. This alliance of know-how allows Swildens to maintain its dynamism and continue to innovate.
