Serge Thoraval
Putting words full of romance on a raw jewel is how one could describe the work of Serge Thoraval. This designer began his career in 1989 alongside Yves Saint Laurent, after which he collaborated with the greatest of the time: Thierry Mugler, Claude Montana, Lanvin, Joseph, agnès b. or Paco Rabanne... While creating in parallel his own pieces straight out of his imaginary poet. In 1994, he opened his workshop and unveiled his jewelry collections: rings, bracelets, earrings and Necklaces in sterling silver. His pieces have stories and can be collected, each piece of jewelry created is above all the fruit of an emotion that is forever alive and is decorated with fragments of poems borrowed from Verlaine or Alfred de Vigny. The strength of her work lies in this intimacy, this poetry engraved almost to the bone. A know-how and a heritage that his son Rock and his mother, Geneviève, have been carrying on since the creator's death in 1999.
