They have an ultra-British preppy vintage look to them Briston... And yet! The brand Briston was founded in 2013 by Brice Jaunet, a passionate Frenchman who has worked with some of the greatest watchmaking houses in Switzerland and France, from Zenith to Cartier or Raymond Weil. But retro-nostalgia always being what it was, Briston embodies the memories of a former Oxford student and is dusting off the watchmaking industry. Watches with assertive "square cambered" lines, sets of interchangeable coloured NATO-type straps in waterproof nylon, a design typical of Swiss know-how and above all a cool-chic, slightly casual spirit that never takes itself seriously. They seem ideal for winning a polo match, a rowing race or a cricket competition, but they can also be used for city life, shopping trips or meetings at the top of the world... In the HMS (hours, minutes, seconds) or Clubmaster (chronograph) version, the mixed watches in the Briston collection are made of very high quality acetate with a sensual feel and come in two sizes.
