Travel back in time with the Bonnecaze Bistro Loupe decanter, a faithful reproduction of the old decanters of the late 19th century. Once water is added to the decanter, it acts as a magnifier and enlarges the text on the dome. The dome-shaped depression at the bottom of the decanter is called the loop, or magnifying glass. This magnification was a useful way to attract attention as a marketing tool of the time.
