Astier de Villatte and Françoise Caron, Nez, have imagined Commune de Paris 1871, a subversive water, an explosion of Sicilian lemons, rosemary and bergamot. Underneath its acidic and unbridled allure, this water hides the unspeakable, powdery, old-fashioned charm of the perfumes of its time. The sweetness of labdanum and benzoin, cedar wood, patchouli and two synthetic molecules: coumarin, with notes of cut grass, and benzaldehyde, with the smell of almond, both of which give it a unique flavor.
