The time for the confrontation of the two sexes has come. With a deceptively simple graphic style, acclaimed designer Yang Liu explores the divergent experiences, challenges and viewpoints faced by men and women, from age-old clichés to current controversies, from boardroom debates to sex in the bedroom.
Yang Liu was born in Beijing in 1976. After studying at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK), she worked as a designer in Singapore, London, Berlin and New York. In 2004, she founded her own design studio where she works until today. In addition to workshops and presentations at international conferences, she teaches at numerous universities around the world. In 2010 she was awarded a professorship at the University of Technical Arts Berlin (BTK). Her work has been awarded several times in international competitions. They have joined prestigious collections and are exhibited in museums around the world. Yang Liu lives and works in Berlin.
