Where does the brand Orlebar Brown come from?
In 2005, while on holiday in Rajasthan, Londoner Adam Brown was refused entry to his hotel restaurant because he was wearing swimming shorts. This gave him the idea for a stylish and comfortable pair of swimming shorts that could be worn both at the pool and in restaurants. After a few years of reflection, he created Orlebar Brown in 2007. Since 2010, the brand has diversified and also offers ready-to-wear clothing. In 2018, Orlebar Brown was acquired by the Chanel group.
