Where does the brand Goossens come from?
Goossens is a French jewellery house created by the Parisian goldsmith Robert Goossens. Although the brand is known for its collaborations with major fashion houses, including Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Dior and Christian Lacroix, it is above all the meeting between its founder and Gabrielle Chanel that gave birth to the inimitable label of its jewellery.
From this beautiful complicity was born a multitude of creations, nourished by various references, where the elegance of traditional jewellery and the flamboyance of Byzantine jewellery are brilliantly harmonised. Goossens dares to create improbable associations between sophisticated stones and more raw materials. Later, in 2005, Chanel's art workshops bought the House of Goosens Paris. An unavoidable link between two entities with crossed destinies.
